Symptoms

When attempting to create Equipment Master records where the Asset Number is left blank in Inbound Asset Master (P1201Z1 and P1217Z2), the following error is generated in the Work Center:

Duplicate Item/Unit/Serial Number
(Error ID 0775)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In Inbound Asset Master/Eq Tag Inquiry (P1201Z1 and P1217Z2), create interoperability inbound records that have the Asset Number blank (system should use next numbers to generate the Asset Number).
2. Run the Asset Master/Equipment Tag Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I) over the records.
3. Inquire on the resulting pdf report and notice that the records end in error.
4. Inquire on the Work Center and note the following error:

Duplicate Item/Unit/Serial Number
