E1: 42: Media Object Text Not Printed on Sales Invoice Print (R42565) PDF (Doc ID 2791559.1)

Media Object Text is not Printing on the Sales Invoice PDF. The Print Tab Processing Option #16 (Print Associated Text) is set to 1 (Print), but neither header text or detail text is printed on the Invoice.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Sales Order Header First and Add Header Text
  2. Add a Detail Line and add detail text.
  3. On the version of Print Invoice (R42565) set Print Tab Option #16 (Print Associated Text) to 1 (Print)
  4. Process the Sales Order through Invoice Print (R42565) and observe that header and detail text is NOT printed on the invoice.
  5. Set Sales Update (R42800) processing options as follows:
    1. Set Process Tab Option #6 (Purge to Sales Detail History (F42119)) to Blank (Purge to Sales Detail History)
    2. Set Process Tab Option #7 (Purge to Sales Header History (F42019)) to Blank (Purge to Sales Header History)
    3. Set Process tab option #12 (Purge Associated Text) to Blank (Do not purge associated text)
  6. Run Sales Update (R42800)
  7. Check Media Objects table (F00165). Verify the header text and detail text were not deleted.
  8. Check Sales Detail History (F42119) and make sure order was moved to history.
  9. Check Sales Header History (F42019) and make sure order was moved to history.
  10. Create a Sales Invoice Print (R42565) REPRINT version.
    1. Select Orders at Next Status 999
    2. Prevent Next Status Update
    3. Prevent Next Number Assignment
    4. Print Associated Text
  11. Run Sales Invoice Print (R42565) Reprint Version and observe that header and detail text are not printed on the invoice.
