Symptoms
Currently Work Center costing (as described in Note 955512.1) is not supported for configured Work Orders due to configured items not having frozen standard costs in Cost Components (F30026) and Item Cost Component Detail (F300261).
The request is to add Cost by Work Center functionality for configured Work Orders. This could be based on how the Production Cost table (F3102) is updated at the time Order Processing (R31410) is run and updates the Standard Amounts. Once the Work Centers are established based on the R Assembly Inclusion Rules, the system could populate the F3102 accordingly. Manufacturing Accounting (R31802A) could use this information for Work Center costing.
