E1: 45: P4077 Rebate Maintenance - Allow Negative Number in Threshold Value (THRV) Field (Doc ID 2797279.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, when configuring a rebate adjustment in E1, the rebate details are added in the P4077 application and the Threshold Value is entered by the user. This value must be positive; if a negative value is entered, the system automatically removes the minus sign. This is the current design and is considered FAD. The customer needs a process to handle rebate amounts for RMAs and credit orders. Because rebates have already been generated for sales orders, the associated clearing of the Open Rebate Amount field, and the uncertain nature of credit orders and RMA orders, it would allow greater flexibility if the THRV value could be set to negative.
