Information in this document applies to any platform.

When 3rd Party Bar Code Scanning Inventory Transfers are used to transfer inventory items with production numbers from the Receiving Location to a Shipping or Stocking Location, it is not subtracting the production number quantity in the REC location from the Item Location Tag File (F41021T).

The issue was confirmed to have occurred by reviewing the following data.

  1. The Item Location Tag File (F41021T) has 23 records for a specific Item in a specific Branch in the Receiving Location with one production number
    1. The sum of the Quantity on Hand field for these Item Location Tag Records (F41021T.PQOH) is 118,490 units.
  2. Item Availability Inquiry (P41202) shows a Quantity On-Hand of Zero for this item in this branch plant
  3. Item Ledger (F4111) shows OV Receipts adding to the Quantity in the Receiving location for a production number, but there are no subtractions when the Item is Transferred out of the Receiving Location.
  4. Inventory Transfers (P4113) are done using DSI scan guns and DSI software.
    1. The Item Ledger (F4111) table shows the 3rd Party User ID and the 3rd Party Program ID is processing the transfers.
    2. The 3rd Party program is not subtracting the Quantity from the Production Number when the item is transferred out of the Receiving location
