Symptoms

Add a new field using Form Extension Manager in P17714 application, then create a new self service work order from P48201 which calls P17714. After the work order is generated, when closing the application P17714 and going back to P48201, a JAS error is encountered. Close the error window and inquiry on the newly created work order. Nothing returned in the grid. But if searching the work order in P48201 version ZJDE0001, the work order is displayed in the grid, including the value entered for Assigned To.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Add Address Number - Assigned To (F4801.ANP) field to P17714 form W17714F (G1316 -> Work Order Entry - Self Service) using Form Extension Manager.
  2. Add a work order via P48201 ZJDE0006 form W48201F which calls Work Order Entry - Self Service (P17714 ZJDE0004 form W17714F) to add a new work order (G1316 -> View Work Orders - Self Service).
  3. Add data in P17714 and click save. A work order number was generated.
  4. Close P17714 and note popup error
