E1: 42: Invalid Date - Requested Date (Error ID E42B7) in Sales Blanket Order Release (P420111) When Releasing a Past Date Blanket and the Requested Date Is Left Blank (Doc ID 2801057.1)

Symptoms

When a Blanket order entered in the past is released via Sales Blanket Order Release (P420111), the system throws the error message 'Invalid Date - Requested date.' (Error ID E42B7) if the requested date is left blank.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create or find a Blanket Order with requested date in the past.
  2. Inquiry the order in P420111 and click SELECT button.
  3. In the Blanket Order Revisions leave the requested date as blank and click SELECT button.
  4. The error 'Invalid Date - Requested date.' is displayed. Note the Request Date field is still blank and highlighted in red, instead of being defaulted as today's date.
