Symptoms
After running the R89078312B to create the Hawaii SUI CSV file F078312, noticed that some employee records were incorrectly showing a number in their Middle Name field.
The issue happens when the employee does not have a middle name entered in Who's Who, in which case the system is pulling in the 1st character from the employee's address field; normally a number.
STEPS:
1. Find a Hawaiian employee with history and make sure they have an address entered in Who's Who but not a midle name.
2. Run the R89078312B to create the Hawaii SUI CSV file and review the file.
3. Notice that the system is substituting the blank middle name with the 1st character in the employee's address field.
