E1: GRID: PERSFORM: Enhancement Request to Allow Multiple Default Grid Formats on an Application With a Default Personal Form (Doc ID 2804130.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 03, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, when creating a Personal Form on an application that has an existing Grid Format, the Grid Format selected in the Personal Forms Manager (Default or Show All Columns) takes precedence over any existing, or newly created Grid Format.

A User can create and save a new default Grid Format by resizing a column to gain access to the Personal Grid icon, however, this new Grid Format does not remain the default when the applicated is reloaded. The default Grid Format is the original grid selected (Default or Show All Columns) when the Personal Form was created. Although the User can select their personal grid, they must do so each time they enter the form, defeating the purpose of a default personal grid.

The desired functionality is to create and share a default Personal Form with all Users, and allow Users to create their own Grid Format and make the new Gird their personal default while in the Personal Form.
