Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In some scenarios with an Item set for Order Policy Code (OPC) = 4 and a Maximum Order Qty the R3483 generates MRP Messages that are short of demand.

Steps to duplicate the specific example reported:

1. P41026 Item Branch Record (P41026) Set with OPC = 4 and OPV = 30 AND Max Order Qty = 10

2. Enter Sales Order (P4210) with Past Due Demand (SO) for 20, Past Due Demand (SO) for 30, and Future Demand (SO) for 40

3. Enter a Work Order (P48013) for Existing Past Due Supply (Work Order) for 50

4. Run R3483 and review Messages - MRP Messages are for Orders of 9, 10, 10, 10 totaling 39 when 40 are needed.
