E1: 90C: User Defined Code Error (Error ID 0027) in CRM Employee Detail (P90CA040) (Doc ID 2806213.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change data in CRM Employee Detail (P90CA040) for one employee the following error is returned on the screen:

User Defined Code Error (Error ID 0027)
CAUSE . . . . The entered code was not found in the User Defined Codes.
RESOLUTION. . Enter a valid code or place the cursor in the field in error and press 'F1' to display the valid values for the field.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go into Search for Employees (P90CA040) program, find an employee, select it, and click on the green checkmark.
  2. On the Employee Manage Screen with the Detail Tab selected, review the data and when done, click the Save Changes Button.
  3. The program reurns the "User Defined Code Error" (Error ID 0027)
  4. If changes were made they cannot be saved because of the error.
