Symptoms
The Fixed Asset Transfer program transfer Balance Character Codes 1, 2, 3, 4,5, and 6. There is no way to not transfer the Secondary Depreciation Accounts. When a transfer is processed all the accounts are transferred making the functionality of Secondary Depreciation useless.
1. Setup the AAIs for Secondary Depreciation.
2. Setup the Depreciation Rule.
3. Date Pattern.
4. Add the Asset
5. Add Beginning Balance.
6. Run Depreciation.
7. Create the accounts it will be transfered to
8. Review the Amounts in the F1202 file.
9. Transfer the Asset: Only need Balance Character Code 1, 2, 4 to transfer.
10. The system is displaying the error since there is no 50.2132.SECOND account. The transfer program transfers all the accounts and not just the balance character codes 1, 2, and 4.
