E1: GRID: ActiveX Off - Grid Export to Excel - Large Number Of Rows Cause HTML Instance Crash (Doc ID 2808763.1)

Symptoms

With ActiveX Off user attempts to grid export 55,000 rows with 226 columns to Excel and it causes the HTML instance to crash. Grid export to CSV is successful.

HTML instance has a 4GB heap size and this was the only user logged in to the HTML instance.

Changes

Update to tools release: 9.2.5.4, 9.2.6.0, 9.2.6.1.

Setting 'Use ActiveX Controls' is False in Server Manager. Further info in E1: GRID: Enhanced Browser Support for Grid Import and Export to Replace ActiveX with Tools Release 9.2.5.4 (Doc ID 2782216.1).
