Symptoms
Multi Plant MRP (R3483) is not considering the demand coming from SV service orders, when a component is attached on the parts. Here is the business case: SV orders without a BOM to begin with. When repairing, they clean/fix whatever part can be salvaged and replace those that cannot be. So it is a different list each time.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Be sure to have the inclusion rules used by MRP set to include SV status 10.
- In P48201 ZJDE0002 WO revisions, add a new SV order, be sure to have an empty item/equipment on the WO header.
- Search for the new SV order and select it. Take the row exit to parts. Add one purchased item with zero stock and no supply.
- Run MRP R3483 over the component.
No messages are generated for the component.
