E1: 13: Planned Finished Date Fields (Alias: DRQJ) are not Calculated Correctly in CAM - Manage Work Order Parts - P13730 and CAM - Manage Work Order Labor - P13732 Programs (Doc ID 2810964.1)

Last updated on JULY 25, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When having the CAM - Manage Equipment Work Orders - P13714 processing option # 2. Recalculate Dates on the Process tab set to 1 = Automatically recalculate the start and requested dates for the parts and labor detail and changing the dates (Requested Finish Date - Alias: DPL, Planned Start Date - Alias: STRT and Planned Finish Date - Alias: DRQJ) on the (maintenance) work order header, the Planned Finish Date (Alias: DRQJ) fields are updated incorrectly on the work order part detail lines and labor detail lines, with the value defined for Planned Start Date.
Only the Planed Finish Date (Alias: DRQJ) value gets updated in the header of either CAM - Manage Work Order Parts - P13730 or CAM - Manage Work Order Labor - P13732 screens.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. P13700 - create a WM order
  2. P13700 > P13714 - assign dates for the following fields: Requested Finish Date, Planned Start date and Planned Finish Date. Save the changes.
  3. P13700 > P13714 - manually change the dates on the Requested Finish Date, Planned Start date and Planned Finish Date fields and save the changes
  4. P13730 and / or P13732 - even if the processing option # "2. Recalculate Dates" in Process tab for P13714 is set to "1 = Automatically recalculate the start and requested dates for the parts and labor detail", the Planned Finish Date field is not updated correctly on the parts detail line or on the labor detail line
