E1: 45: Check Price and Availability Inquiry (P4074) Does Not Retrieve Cost for Kits (Doc ID 2811306.1)

Symptoms

The “Check Price and Availability” program (P4074) does not fetch the unit cost from the Item Cost table (F4105.UNCS) into the field on Form W4074D.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Client created a kit parent item with Item Master (P4101) set as follows:
    1. Stocking Type = K (Kit Parent)
    2. Kit/Configurator Pricing Method = 2 (List Price of Final Kit)
  2. Sales/Inventory Cost on the Kit Parent Item is 380.2825 in Branch Plant MDC
  3. The “Check Price and Availability” program (P4074) does not fetch the unit cost from the Item Cost table (F4105.UNCS) into the field on Form W4074D.
