E1: 11: Running Currency Restatement Compute and Print(R11414A) For AC Ledger is Creating Period Activity At The Beginning of Fiscal Year (Doc ID 2812287.1)

Symptoms

The Currency Restatement Compute and Print(R11414A) is creating a period activity at the beginning of the year in the AC ledger when Restatement ran with Year To Date(YTD) processing.


STEPS
-----------------------

  1. P0902P1 – Account Balances: Review the AA and AC ledger for an account.
  2. R11414A – Currency Compute and Print: Run the Restatement for FY 20
  3. P0902P1 – Account Balances: AA and AC ledger for account focused on are as expected.
  4. R11414A – Currency Compute and Print: AA and AC ledgers are as expected.
  5. R098201 – Annual Close Report: AA and AC ledgers are as expected.
  6. P0911 – Journal Entry:  A JE transaction is entered and posted for FY 21 to the AC ledger and posted.  This creates an AC entry in ledger without affecting the AA ledger.  This process is required by client.
  7. P0902P1 – Account Balances: Reviewing AC ledger shows the JE as expected.
  8. R098201 – Annual Close Report: After Annual Close AA and AC ledgers showing as expected.
  9. P0902P1 – Account Balances: AA ledger is showing as expected.
  10. R11414A – Currency Compute and Print: Is ran for FY 22 in YTD mode.  
  11. P0902P1 – Account Balances: AC ledger is incorrect.  Previously entered JE for AC ledger is in period 1.
