E1: 31: 17: R31422 W.O. Hours and Quantity Update Should Give a Warning in the WC if Work Order Time Transactions F31122.YST=”I”
(Doc ID 2814425.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2021
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
For a service WO, the actual labor is recorded in Work Order Time Entry (P311221) as 0.3 hours. The Work Center rate is 0.01 $ per hour. By calculation, the resulting amount is 0.3x0.01$ = 0.003 $.
When running R31422 W.O. Hours and Quantity Update over that service WO, an IH record should be created in F0911 Account Ledger. Because the value is smaller than 0.01 $, it cannot be stored in F0091.AA amount field. This is documented in Doc ID 630761.1 (Decimals and Rates).
Still, the field YST (Processed Code) is updated to "I" (Interim Printed) in table F31122 Work Order Time Transactions. This makes the record no longer appear in P311221 and the user may thing that the processing of the WO via R31422 was successful.
The request is for a message in the WSJ Work Center and/or on the output PDF of R31422 indicating that the line was not fully processed and no F0911 Account Ledger record was created due to the amount being too small (checkthe labor hours and WC rates).
