E1: 49: Shipment Number (SHPN) Not Populated for Record Type 20 Under In-transit Ledger (F49631) During Load Confirm (Doc ID 2817277.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 29, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using In-transit loads, the shipment number (SHPN) does not update to the In-transit Ledger (F49631) during Load Confirm. As part of this process, the 'Record Type' field in F49631 (alias TOITLT) is set to 20.
When deliver confirming the load, the shipment number (SHPN) is correctly updated to the In-transit Ledger (F49631) and the Record Type is set to 30.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Add a transportation order (P4210 or P42101), then add the shipment to a new in-transit load (P4960)
  2. Route, approve and confirm the load (P4960 and P49640), then perform a partial delivery confirm on the shipment (P49650).
  3. Disposition the remaining quantity either back into inventory or as an unscheduled delivery, using program P49660.
  4. Using the Databrowser, check the In-Transit ledger table (F49631) and locate the CT record created. Entries with Record Type 20 and 51 do not have the Shipment number recorded against them, but Record Type 30 does register the Shipment Number.
