Symptoms

The customer is attempting to ship confirm a transfer order. The customer is processing multiple orders at the same time.  Ship confirm is failing with an error indicating a duplicate key error, Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'F43121Z1_PK'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'PRODDTA.F43121Z1'

The customer is also using receipt routing during ship confirmation.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In Sales Order Entry (P4210) create a transfer order, ST/OT.
  2. In Ship Confirm (P4205), ship confirm the ST order along with other ST/OT orders.
  3. The duplicate key error is displayed.
