Information in this document applies to any platform.

Recurring Billing Generation (R15100) is not prorating the invoice amount when the processing option for proration method is 30 days  and the lease start date is mid month.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Set up lease (P1501) starting mid month
  2. Enter Recurring Billing (P1502) with monthly billing
  3. Run Recurring Billing Generation (R15100) Select prorate and catch up
  4. Select proration method equal to 30 days

Bug 25342172 changed functionality for proration of months less than 30 days, this caused an issue for proration when using the 30 day processing option.
