E1: GRID: Columns with ( Formula, Function, Cell Formatting ) are Not Imported from Excel into the Grid or a Blank Screen Appears when ActiveX is Set to False or OLEONLY in jas.ini - 9.2.5.4 and Higher

Symptoms
Per E1: GRID: Enhanced Browser Support for Grid Import and Export to Replace ActiveX with Tools Release 9.2.5.4 (Doc ID 2782216.1), following issues are observed :
Symptom 1
Import from excel is working with activeX set to false or OLEONLY in jas.ini but the columns containing formula are not imported, as shown in below screen print. In the excel sheet, the third column is using the formula "=TODAY()" and hence that column is not getting imported into the grid.
Steps to replicate
- Login to 9.2.5.4 html instance with activeX set to False or OLEONLY
- Access P0015Z1 from fastpath and click add
- Try importing the excel sheet with a column containing formula as shown above.
Symptom 2
Excel sheet contains following :
Function
• HLOOKUP
Cell Formatting
• Number - Custom
After click Upload and Continue, blank screen is displayed. Click Home button, then click <Application> - Import Assistant" in Open Applications. "An error occurred in parent dispatcher." message on-screen is displayed.
Steps to replicate
- Login to 9.2.5.4 html instance with activeX set to False or OLEONLY
- Access P0015Z1 from fastpath and click add
- Try importing the excel file with a sheet containing HLOOKUP function
- A blank screen appears when clicking Continue button after browsing and uploading the excel file
- Click on Home button and then click on "<Application>-Import Assistant" under Open Applications. "An error occurred in parent dispatcher." message is displayed.
Changes
Updated html instance tools release to 9.2.5.4 or higher and set activeX to False or OLEONLY in jas.ini.
