E1: 42: Sales Inquiry (P42101) Performance on 9.2 OCI Cloud is Slower than on 9.1 OCI Cloud (Doc ID 2821066.1)

Symptoms

The customer is upgrading from E1 9.1 on OCI Cloud to 9.2 on OCI Cloud and discovering much slower performance on Sales Inquiries (P42101) on 9.2 (7 minutes to retrieve 12,000 records) versus 9.1 (1 minute to retrieve 12,000 records).

Steps to replicate:

  1. Sign into 9.2 OCI Cloud PD Environment
  2. Start Manage Existing Order (P42101)
  3. Enter a specific customer address and next status 565 and click Find.
  4. It takes 7 minutes to return approximately 12,000 records 
  5. The Inquiry performance of P42101 in version 9.2 is 7 min in comparison to 9.1 (1 min).

Changes

This issue coincides with a change of architecture.

The JAS Server was moved from the Enterprise Server machine to a different machine .
