E1: 34: When Running MRP (R3482/R3483) And Request Date Less Than Lead Time Level System Is Making The Start Date Equal The Request Date (Doc ID 2822249.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 17, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version XE and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Why, when running MRP for items where Request Date - Today Date is less than Lead time level, the system is making the Start Date = the Request Date?

Expect it to make the Start Date = today (earliest that can start work). Also, for these orders, the Planning message type is O (Order) rather then B (Order & Expedite) as they are required in less than the standard lead time.
