Goal

Why does the system generate both G (or L) and O messages instead of G (or L) messages for the following scenario?

When having monthly forecast records and then generating MRP messages for purchase orders creation, if the P3411 version has the procession option "3. Consolidate" in the "PO Info" tab activated, the system generates a single purchase order with multiple purchase order detail lines upon processing message(s), corresponding to each forecast record matching the Request Date / Quantity. If later on the users are deleting the monthly forecast records and enter weekly forecast records, the system generates both G (or L) and O messages. The G or L messages are for the existing purchase order detail lines and the O messages are created for the remaining balance quantity of the demand change.
