E1: 42: R42950 (Sales Order Batch Price/Cost Update) Clears the Quantity Shipped When the Line is on Future Commitment (Doc ID 2823569.1)

Symptoms

Batch R42950 (Sales Order Batch Price/Cost Update) clears the quantity shipped field in P4210 (SO entry) and F4211 (SO detail) when the line is on future commit, but is eligible for soft commitment based on the setup.

Steps:

  1. P41001 (B/P Constants) for B/P 70 has commitment days = 10
  2. P4210 enter transportation order with the Requested date in the future, more than 10 days (5/11/2021) - today's date = 04/30/2021
  3. Save - the scheduled pick is set on the 7th of May, less than 10 days based on the routing of the shipment
  4. The order is future committed
    1. qty ordered = 3
    2. qty shipped = 3
    3. Future qty committed = 3
  5. Run R42950. Check P4210 - qty field = BLANK
    1. qty ordered = 3
    2. qty shipped = 0
    3. Future qty committed = 3
  6. Run R42995 (Repost Active Sales Orders)
    1. Check qty shipped = 3
    2. future qty committed = 0
