Symptoms

The Item Availability Inquiry (P41202) is displaying a negative quantity in the hard commitment field (F41021.HCOM) for a specific location and/or lot number.

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Review Item Availability Inquiry (P41202).
  2. Enter an Item Number and Branch Plant and click Find.
  3. Review all the Locations/Lot Numbers that have inventory quantities populated.
  4. Notice that one or more records shows a negative quantity in the SO Hard Commit (HCOM) field.
