E1: 31: In P31115 Co/by Completion Revision, the Completed Quantity Is Rounded up to a Bigger Quantity (Doc ID 2828352.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

With a process and CO item, for specific WO quantities (105 and 150 PL), when completing a partial of 1 PL, the resulting quantity in P31115 CO/BY Completion Revision is bigger with a few decimals than when completing a 1 PL WO.

Steps:

  1. Create a Process Item P40792 and a Co Item 40792. Both items have a UOM Conversion of 1 PL = 12200 EA. For Process, the Production UOM = PL and for the Co, the Production UOM = EA.
  2. When creating a work order for 1 PL and completing 1 PL with P31114, the system suggests to complete 12200 EA in P31115.
  3. When creating a work order for 100 PL and completing 1 PL with P31114, the system suggests to complete 12200 EA in P31115.
  4. When creating a work order for 105 PL and completing 1 PL with P31114, the system suggests to complete 12200,0006 EA in P31115.

Additional info:

In the occasion that an item was used that has a different number of EA stacked on a pallet, the order quantity of 105 PL will not be a problem.
Customer has also seen the same behaviour with the order quantity of 150 PL for an item with UOM 12200 EA per pallet.
