E1: 42: Unable to See Order Quantity for Child Components in P41351 (Kit Selection) (Doc ID 2831616.1)

When inquiring on Kit/Configurator screen (P41351) via Row exit in P4210 (Sales order entry) for a kit parent line, no quantities are displayed for the kit components.

In a previous tools release (9.2.0.5) you can see the quantities for the kit components.

P3002 Bill Of Material for the kit parent shows there are no quantities defined for the components.

Enter a sales order for the kit parent and the system calls the Kit selection window (P41351). The user will enter quantities for the components (as there are none predefined in F3002 (Bill Of Material file)).

After saving the order and inquiring on Kit/Configurator screen P41351 via Row exit in P4210 for a kit parent line, no quantities are displayed for the kit components. This occurs in 9.2 with TR 9.2.4.6 and also TR 9.2.5.4 but does not occur in 9.2.0.5. Here the P41351 shows the quantities the user set previously.

Steps:

Note: P3002 – Bill Of Material for the kit parent - there are no quantities defined for the components.

1. P4210 enter sales order withe for kit parent
2. Kit selection window appears - user sets some quantities in here for the components.
3. Save.
4. Save the order
5. Inquire on the sales order
6. Check sales order lines - all components have quantities as defined by the user.
7. Take row exit to Kit/Configurator P41351 screen from the kit parent line - see the quantities are blank for all components.

Run the same steps in the old release - Take row exit to Kit/Configurator P41351 screen - see the quantities are populated for the components as the ones entered manually at step 2.

Checked P3002 for both releases for the parent, no kit comp quantities.
