Symptoms
Multi plant MRP (R3483) and Single plant MRP (R3482) are not calculating correctly the demand for the component coming from SV service orders, when the component is attached on the parts. Calculation is based on the quantity on the SV order header, instead of the estimated quantity on the parts detail.
Steps:
- Be sure to have the inclusion rules used by MRP set to include SV status 10.
- In P48201 ZJDE0002 WO revisions, add a new SV order for 2 EA, be sure to have an empty item/equipment on the WO header.
- Search for the new SV order and select it. Take the row exit to parts. Add one purchased item for the estimated quantity of 5 EA. The item has zero stock and no supply.
- Run R3483 or R3482 over the component.
An Order message for 2 EA (as of the SV order header) is generated for the component. It should have been for 5 EA, as per the parts demand.
