Symptoms
If you have an E1 batch server with multiple pathcodes and submit a batch job to the batch server for a pathcode that is not the default pathcode configured for the batch server, then:
- The metadata kernel attempts to create the UBE runtime cache for the batch job using the wrong pathcode, and this generates an error in the jde log file for the metadata kernel.
- The batch job runs to completion without any error for the batch job, but the batch job ignores all data selection or sequencing overrides specified by the user at submission time.
If the issue exists, the following errors appear in the jde log for the metadata kernel:
