E1: 43: Order Template (P4015) Screen Is Still Displaying in Purchase Order Entry (P4310) Even Though Is Not Applicable (Doc ID 2836162.1)

Symptoms

When entering a purchase order for a supplier that has an order template associated, which contains only expired lines, the Order Template (P4015) screen still pops up. However when click OK and Order Template Inquiry (P40215) opens, there are no lines displayed in there.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. P4015 ZJDE0002 Have an order template for a specific supplier with only expired lines in there.
  2. Ensure there is no generic template setup (generic template means that its address number (AN8) is blank).
  3. Set processing option # 2 Order Templates to value of 1 = Display on the Processing tab behind Purchase Order Entry (P4310).
  4. Add a new Purchase Order and enter the Supplier Number that is associated with the Template.
  5. After entering header information and selecting OK, the Order Template options for this supplier will be displayed. However, the order template comes up empty as its lines are expired.
