E1: 45: Check Price and Availability (P4074) Returns Price for 1 Case Even Though From Quantity Was for 1 Pallet (Doc ID 2851693.1)

Symptoms

Check Price and Availability Inquiry (P4074) retrieves the price per case (CA) even though the Quantity From is entered as 1 pallet (PL) and a price per pallet (PL) is setup in the Price Adjustment Detail (P4072).

The client duplicated the issue following the steps below:

  1. Setup a Price Adjustment Definition (P4071) for a simple Line Level Adjustment with a Quantity Level Break.
  2. Price Adjustment Detail (P4072) has one record as follows:
    1. Specific Item Number
    2. From Level is 1
    3. Threshold Unit of Measure is CA (Cases)
    4. Factor Value U/M is EA
    5. Adjustment is 8.95 per EA (Basis Code 5)
    6. Customer Group is based on Cat Code AC08 with a value 1
    7. Order Detail Group is based on CO (company) with a value of 00020
    8. There is only a price per EA based on an order of CA (cases)
  3. The requirement is to provide Item at a price of 8.95 EA if one or more CA (cases) are ordered and 8.50 EA if one or more PL (pallets) are ordered.
  4. Item UOM Conversions (P41002) are setup as follows:
    1. CA = 12 EA
    2. 1 CA = 0.025 PL (same as 1 PL = 40 CA)
  5. Return to Price Adjustment Detail (P4072) and added a second record as follows:
    1. From Level is 1
    2. Threshold Unit of Measure is PL (Pallets)
    3. Factor Value U/M is EA
    4. Adjustment is 8.50 per EA (Basis Code 5)
    5. Customer Group is based on Cat Code AC08 with a value 1
    6. Order Detail Group is based on CO (company) with a value of 00020
  6. Tested the Adjustment using the Check Price (P4074) program.
    1. Enter “Quantity From = 1 CA. The price of 8.95 EA is correctly pulled in.
    2. Now enter Quantity From = 1 PL. Case Price still comes in as 8.95 EA.
    3. Pallet price of 8.50 EA is not retrieved
