E1: 43: P4310 Purchase Order Entry Promised Delivery Date (PDDJ) Does Not Populate For Kit Components (Doc ID 2852045.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When entering a PO using Kits, the Promised Delivery Date PDDJ in the Kit component lines is not populated with the Promised Delivery Date PDDJ from the Order Header. Instead the date defaults from the Requested Date. Only the parent gets the correct dates.

Steps to replicate:

  1. P40HDR. In the P4310 header verify that PDDJ is defined.
  2. P4310.  Enter an order for a kit item header first. In the PO header change both the requested date and promised delivery date to be something other than the order date and not the same date between requested and promised delivery. Note the dates default correctly to the kit parent line.
  3. P4310. Re-inquire on the PO and note the promised delivery date for the kit component lines have defaulted from the request date.
