Goal
Currently, we can download the orchestration that Oracle created to build the package. Reference KM: E1: ORCH: PKG: How to Build a Package from Orchestration? (Doc ID 2777342.1)
This is a request to have an Orchestration to process the whole package flow which includes package assembly, promotion, building and deploying.
An example of the flow is:
- A developer creates/modify E1 objects and once it is ready to move to PY for testing, then change the project status. ( A custom status).
- Once a week, CNC build an update package for Objects that needs to move to PY (specific status). CNC creates a package assembly for all the objects that are in the status.
- Must add the User with the correct role to the project member to be able to promote the project.
- Promote the objects that are in the status to PY.
- Using the #2 Package Assembly, build the Package Build definition
- Submit the build to create client and server package.
- Based on the result of the build, create the Package deployment Definition
- Deploy the package.
