E1: 47: Which EDI Transaction Require the Send/Receive Indicator (EDER) to be Set as B for Both? (Doc ID 2858364.1)

The data dictionary for EDER - Send/Receive Indicator has B - Both as a default value.
Why is this? Which EDI transaction are both sent and received?

When processing the EDI 856 Outbound ASN the ASN header table F47036 updates with B even though it is a sent EDI transaction and there appears to be no way to change this in configuration.
What are the implications of changing the data dictionary default value to S so we do not need to customize R47032 ?
