E1: MOBJ: Dates Do Not Enter Correctly and Leading Asterisks Convert to Bullet Points After Updating the Tools Release to 9.2.6.1 in the Media Objects Text Editor (Doc ID 2860029.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Media objects are acting strange after updating to Tools Release 9.2.6.1.

  1.  When entering some dates, it will automatically replace characters with fractional equivalents, making the date unintelligible.
For example, text entered as 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4 is automatically stacked as fractions with a diagonal line (½, ⅓, ¼) without pressing the space bar after the second number (read as the denominator) is entered.

  2.  When choosing font/background colors in text media objects, there are now less colors with no color wheel functionality.

  3.  When entering leading asterisks in a media object, it is automatically converting them to bullet points.

Changes

 Updated to tools release 9.2.6.1.
