E1: 46: Quantity Invalid (0855) During Manual Planner of Pick Request When Manually Selecting Location (Doc ID 2860148.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use Manual Planner (P4600) to perform a pick suggestion to a specific location when the unit of measure on the sales order and request is smaller than the primary unit of measure, the following error occurs:

Quantity Invalid (0855)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Setup an item where the primary unit of measure is CA using the P4101/P41026
2. Setup UOM conversions for the item for PL to CA and CA to EA
3. Setup the item for Warehousing in the P46022 and P46010.
4. Add inventory to a specific location for the item.
5. Add a sales order using the P4210 in EA UOM for a quantity equal to what is available in the location and create the pick request (based on processing option behind the P4210).
6. Attempt to create a suggestion using Manual Planner (P4600) by selecting the specific location. The error Quantity Invalid (0855) appears.
