Promised Shipment Date (PPDJ) is added using form extensions in P4310 W4310B Order Header form and a value different from Promised Delivery Date (PDDJ) is entered.When description is changed, Promised Shipment Date (PPDJ) overrides Promised Delivery Date (PDDJ) and Order date (TRDJ) Overrides Requested date (DRQJ) and Promised Shipment date (PPDJ) is blanked out. 


  1. Create a Form Extension making the Field PPDJ (Date Promised Shipment)in the P4310|W4310B header available
  2. Enter the Purchase Order header with Promised Shipment date PPDJ different from Promised Delivery Date (PDDJ)
  3. Enter the detail line and save the order 
  4. Re-inquire the order and update the Description field on the detail line and save the order
  5. Notice Promised Delivery Date (PDDJ) was updated with the value of Promised Shipment Date (PPDJ) and Requested date (DRQJ) with the value of Order date (TRDJ) and Promised Shipment Date (PPDJ) is blanked out
