(Doc ID 2862990.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When a parent item with frozen WO's or past due requirements and the component item with dependent demand, with min/max/multiple (RQMX RQMN and MULT) quantities populated, and Safety Stock exists for the parent, MRP cancels needed firm supply orders resulting in Negative End Availability.
Steps:
==================
- Create a P4101 Component Item with a set-up in P41026 Item Branch populating values for:
- - Maximum Reorder Qty
- - Minimum Reorder Qty
- - Multiple Order Quantity
- - Safety Stock
- Have the top parent P48013 Manufacturing item with frozen Work Order in the past and the component item should receive dependent demand.
- Run R3483 MRP.
- Review P3411 Messages and P3413 Time Series. The component shows excess P3411 C-Cancel Messages, resulting in P3413 Time Series with negative ending availability (=EA).
