E1: 42: Extended Field Warning in Sales Order Entry (P4210) After Calling Kit Select Window (P41351) With Form Extensions (Doc ID 2863909.1)

Symptoms

After adding fields using a form extension in application P41351 (called from P4210 when using a kit item), the system will display the following message after entering a Sales Order (P4210) and clicking OK in the Kit Selection screen (P41351):

EXTENDED FIELD WARNING
Extended fields will not be saved as the primary keys are not available in Update mode.
Extended fields in the following detail lines were not saved.
Detail Lines: 1

Steps:
1. Create a Kit item (Stocking Type K in P4101 and P41026).
2. Create a Bill of Material (P3002) for the Kit with one component.
3. Add a Sales Order (P4210) for the Kit item.
4. The system will call P41351, form W41351A; click on the Form Extension icon.
5. Select the Add Mode and Override fields; add fields URAB and URAT to the header section and save.
6. Click OK in the Kit Selection (P41351) screen; the system will return to Sales Order Entry (P4210) and immediately display the following warning:

EXTENDED FIELD WARNING
Extended fields will not be saved as the primary keys are not available in Update mode.
Extended fields in the following detail lines were not saved.
Detail Lines: 1
