When running the R12855 with # 6.Flex Accounting = 1 to Use flex accounting, and changing for the depreciation expense account the Post Edit Code (PEC) from Blank to S after running the depreciation, then on the next run the R12855 is still creating balances by subledger in the F1202 table, even the post to F0902 and F1202 should be in Summary format for every transaction. The expectation is that for an asset with depreciation expense account changed from having PEC = Blank to PEC = S, then no Balances by Subledger to be created on the F1202 table.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Go to P0901 (Account Master) and set a depreciation expense account with PEC = Blank.
      2. Go to P12002 (Work With Depreciation Defaults) and set a Depreciation Default Coding for a asset cost account account with the Default Expense Account defined at step 1.
      3. Go to P1204 (Work with Assets) and define a new asset that will use the asset cost account from step 2 (in this way it will use also the depreciation expense account defined at step 1).
      4. Go to P1204, select the asset from the grid, then go to P1202 (Depreciation Information) to set the depreciation information for that asset.
      5. In P12130 (Beginning Balance Adjustments) enter a Beginning balance for the asset for FY 21 for example.
      6. Run depreciation for January and February for FY 21.
      7. Review P122101 (Cost Summary) for the asset.
      8. Change Posting Edit Code for the account defined at step 1 to “S”.
      9. Go to G16 > Advanced Cost Accounting > System Setup > Advanced Cost Accounting Constants > P1609 Advanced Cost Accounting Constants - Enter/Change Cost Management constants and double-check the Advanced Cost Accounting constants are activated on the system.
10.Go to P40296 Work With Flexible Sales Accounts and set the Flexible Sales Account rule to flex on subledger type A for the company, document type and the expense account, with Subledger = X, File Name = F1201 and Data Item = TXJS (Tax Entity of the asset).
     11. Run depreciation for March and May. When running the depreciation report make sure that in tab Process the # 6.Flex Accounting = 1 to Use flex accounting.
     12. Review F1202 , Review F0902, Cost summary for the asset and notice that:
            - Balances by Subledger are summarized in F0902
            - Balances by Subledger are NOT summarized in F1202
