E1: 49: When Backorder is Released from Sales Order Entry (P4210) a Line is not Inserted in Shipment Details Table (F4942) (Doc ID 2864303.1)

Symptoms

In Sales Order Entry (P4210) open the existing back-ordered sales order line, blank the quantity in the backorder column and update the quantity shipped column. The shipment number is updated but record is not created in F4942.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. In P4210 create a sales blanket order for four items. Ensure all the items do not have enough quantity.
  2. Release the blanket order using P420111.
  3. In P4210 inquire on the generated order and all lines are back-ordered.
  4. In P4114 adjust additional quantities for lines 1,2 and 4.
  5. In P42117 release lines 1,2 and 4.
  6. In P4210 all released lines have the same shipment number.
  7. Re-open the same order and entered the revision code on the back-order line.
  8. Changed the requested date on all 4 lines.
  9. Removed the back-order quantity of line number 3 updated the same quantity as shipped quantity and save the order.
  10. Only shipment for 3 lines is created. One line is missing in F4942.
