E1: PKG: BSFN DLLs Location Changed With Tools Release 9.2.6.x and Above (Doc ID 2865404.1)

Last updated on MAY 02, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The customer has a 3rd party application that exports data from JDE based on the location where the DLLs are being stored (<pathcode>/bin64) Starting with Tools Release 9.2.6.x the DLLs are now being copied to the location <pathcode>/bin64/<package name> They now need to manually make changes to their 3rd party process because the <package name> will keep changing instead of just having to setup the process to go directly to the <pathcode> location. What is the reason for the change and is it possible to make changes to have the DLLs saved in the <pathcode>/bin64 location?
