P42101 - Credit holds are applied to new sales order even when the total order amount for the customer orders doesn't exceed the credit limit in customer master and the past due amounts in accounts receivable do not exceed the Aging Criteria.

The client reproduced the issue with the following steps

  1. In Customer Master (P03013) set the Credit Limit to $75,000
  2. In Order Hold Constants (P42090) Setup CH credit hold for 10% in aging period 4 (91-120 days past due
  3. In SO Entry (P4210) Order Hold Tab, set Option #1 (Credit Check)  to apply CH credit check hold code
  4. In SO Entry (P42101) Version Tab, call the P4210 version setup in Step 3
  5. Perform SO Entry (P42101) in order header, enter a Requested Date more than one month beyond today's date
  6. On the order detail line enter 100 units and verify the amount does not cause the customer to exceed the credit limit. Save the order.
  7. Inquire on the order and observe it is on CH credit hold
