Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using the Limit on Company Fee and Wage Attachment Combined functionality, the system is generating a gross to net error. The limit order is set to a 2 to reduce the garnishment amount by the wage attachment fee. The garnishment deduction amount is properly reduced by the fee, but the net pay is calculated as if the garnishment deduction wasn't reduced at all.

The net pay should properly reflect the reduced garnishment deduction amount to avoid a gross-to-net error

1. Setup garnishment with company fee
2. Enter limit order information to reduce wage attachment first
3. Enter interim – received gross to net error
4. Review stub detail to complete garnishment calculation
   a. Disposable wages = $ 4964.80 (gross – taxes)
   b. Garnishment @ 25% = $ 1,240.20
   c. Garnishment to be reduced by company fee $ 1,240.20- $1 = 1,239.20
   d. Calculate gross to net. Net pay should = 2113.60
   e. System incorrectly calculating net pay as 2112.60 (as if garnishment deduction was the full $297.24)
