E1: ORCH: When Sharing UDOs Such as Orchestrations , Personal Forms and Form Extensions the USER field in the Corresponding Central Object Table Gets Updated with JDE (Doc ID 2868759.1)

Symptoms

When sharing a custom or standard orchestration component the USER field in the central object table F9524810 is updated with JDE instead of the user performing the action.

This is also seen with few other UDO(User Defined Objects) types such as PF(Personal Forms) and FE(Form Extension)

For other UDOs like Grid Format when a share is done, the the USER field corresponding central object table is updated with the User performing the share.

Steps

Sharing an Imported Orchestration

1. Download the update manager UDO package from updatecenter.oracle.com

2. Sign in to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Web link.

3. Navigate to the Web Object Management Workbench application (P98220W).

4. On the Object Management Workbench form, select Import from the Form menu.

5. In the File Upload form, click Browse to navigate to the folder where you downloaded the UDO zip files. For example, D:/UDO/UDO_92_10309.zip.

6. Open databrowser from fast path

7. Check the record USER id column in F98700R. The USER should be same as the <USER> who uploaded the orchestration

8. Check the record in F9524810 (should not be present)

9. Share the orchestration using steps mentioned in E1: ORCH: How "Share/Approve" (Checkin/Checkout) Works for Orchestration UDO Components - P98220U and P98220W (Doc ID 2795028.1)

10. Check the record in F9524810 for USER id column

Sharing a custom orchestration

1. Create a custom orchestration from Orchestrator Studio.

2. Login into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Web link

3. Open databrowser from fast path

4. Check the record USER id column in F98700R. The USER should be same as the <USER> who created the orchestration

5. Check the record in F9524810 (should not be present)

6. Share the orchestration using steps mentioned in E1: ORCH: How "Share/Approve" (Checkin/Checkout) Works for Orchestration UDO Components - P98220U and P98220W (Doc ID 2795028.1)

7. Check the record in F9524810 for USER id column

Changes

An UDO such as ORCH, PF or FE has been shared
