E1: 42: P40051/P400511 - Errors Currency Exchange Rate Not Found (0949) and Invalid Parameter (4375) When Creating RMA With Last Disposition REC (Doc ID 2872088.1)

Symptoms

When user manually creates (not history) RMA (P400511) using Last Disposition code (REC) the following errors are displayed:

ERROR

ID 0949 - Currency Exchange Rate Not Found

CAUSE . . . . A valid rate for this currency code could not be found in the Currency Exchange Rates file (F0015), and no manual rate was entered.
RESOLUTION. . Add the exchange rate for the currency code in the Currency Exchange Rate file (F0015), or if the screen has an Exchange Rate field, you may enter an Override Exchange Rate manually.

ID 4375 - Invalid Parameters

CAUSE . . . . Parameters passed to function contain invalid values.
RESOLUTION. . Check parameters for valid values.

SETUP:
a.) P40052 – Setup RMA Document, this case using R8. Purchase TAB set repairable branch plant and Purchase Order Application Version
b.) Properly set P40051 Processing Options.
     Default TAB:
                  1. RMA Document Type = R8
                  3. Default Branch Plant = 30
     Version TAB: Check to have P400511 and PO Entry versions setup
c.) Properly set P400511 Processing Options
Defaults TAB:
                  1. RMA Doc Type = R8
                  7. Last Disposition for Credit memo = REC

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.) P40051 – Click ADD button
2.) P40051 – Populate the header fields accordingly. For the detail line, the Last Disposition needs to be populated. In this case a Purchase Order will be created and REC will be used. The item information is also required
3.) Move cursor to next line and see “Currency Exchange Rate Not Found” (ID 0949) and Invalid Parameter (ID 4375) errors displayed.
