E1: JAS: Inactive Database Sessions are not Closed when USEORACLEDBCONNECTIONPOOL=TRUE (Doc ID 2872267.1)

Symptoms

Even after user sign-out of JDE, there are inactive database sessions opened in the database for a far longer duration ( greater than connectionTimeout value plus the cleanPoolInterval value.)
The connections are cleared from the JAS session, connections are only left open from the database side.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Log in JDE and use one interactive application.
  2. Log out from JDE
  3. Check after time inteval greater than connectionTimeout + cleanPoolInterval
  4. Sessions on database level are still opened

Changes

Upgrade Tools Release to 9.2.6.X

Set USEORACLEDBCONNECTIONPOOL=TRUE
