Symptoms
Even after user sign-out of JDE, there are inactive database sessions opened in the database for a far longer duration ( greater than connectionTimeout value plus the cleanPoolInterval value.)
The connections are cleared from the JAS session, connections are only left open from the database side.
Steps to replicate:
- Log in JDE and use one interactive application.
- Log out from JDE
- Check after time inteval greater than connectionTimeout + cleanPoolInterval
- Sessions on database level are still opened
Changes
Upgrade Tools Release to 9.2.6.X
Set USEORACLEDBCONNECTIONPOOL=TRUE
