Symptoms

The customer is receiving the error Invalid Location Format (Error ID 3098) when attempting to create a new location record for their branch plant. 

Steps to Duplicate;

  1. In Branch Plant Constants (P41001) select a Branch Record.
  2. Take the Row exit to Locations.
  3. Create a location record, 1234567.  The error Invalid Location Format is displayed.
